What we believe

In today’s global society our every action has a large, lasting impact on the lives of others and on the state of the planet. We forget to acknowledge the constant conflict, hardship and suffering that can be seen in all corners of the globe at any given time. We cannot rid the world of all suffering. It is part of life. But so much of this suffering has been created by us.

At times it feels as though we are too small to make a difference to so many problems. Scared and overwhelmed, we neglect the power we have as individuals and choose to do nothing. But once we have become aware of the problem, we cannot forget it, no matter how hard we try. Our inaction becomes an action in itself.

We believe that we are all responsible for social change and that we all have a part to play, no matter how small. We hope for a world that comes together in bringing justice and equality to all.

We cannot fight against war. Fighting is war. We must learn to open ourselves to peace and allow that to replace war. This is where world peace begins.

Because in order to create anything in the world, we have to first create it in ourselves. True change always starts from within and it is from this seed that social change grows.

It’s easy to march against a war but far harder to try to cultivate peace within ourselves. But then, all life’s greatest struggles and conflicts start within.

Even so, it does not seem enough to dedicate one’s life to personal growth only and neglect the harsh realities our world faces. We still have to act because we are still a part of this world.

Being proactive, aware of our everyday actions, we can have a massive impact on the world.

We don’t know exactly what it is we need to do in order to make this world a better place to live. But we should all question our actions and learn about what it is we can do. We must.
