Why?

Sometimes you can’t just switch off the news and go back to eating your dinner when you see so much suffering in the world. You can’t ignore suffering forever. Sometimes we cannot appease our social conscience by convincing ourselves that our actions don’t count anyway. Sometimes our dreams of seeing the world and making a difference just can’t be ignored any longer.

Times like these.

Because it’s still not too late. We still have time to do something. We can still jump headfirst into reality and make lasting changes to our lives, the lives of others and the state of the world today. Within each person there are dreams waiting to become reality and a sense of accountability that is never too late to be addressed.

A small group of us have decided that we want to do something about this. We want to reach for our dreams and take a step towards becoming the people we want to be. We are coming together in trying to live our lives in a way that brings happiness and that addresses our responsibility for preserving all that is good in the world.

This is why we have decided to explore this life under the backdrop of the land of saints and prophets. In a land filled with hope and destruction, the home of Eden and Armageddon, we will learn about what we can do to enrich our lives and make a difference to the world in which we live.

In short we will be taking on the roles of great philosophers, explorers, teachers and philanthropists. From beginning to end (if it ever ends...) we will become a part of something special and unique and to open our hearts and minds to an experience that will stay with us for the rest of our lives.

If you’ve ever thought about doing any of these things, it’s not too late to do something about it. We invite you to join us on this adventure and to start living each day as if it were your first.
